Call to participation in the EuroGOOS surveys on data management and the implementation of recommendations and on biological ocean observing systems

EuroGOOS and DATAMEQ are promoting two very important surveys we kindly invite you to participate in, open until 15 November:
  1. Survey on data management and the implementation of recommendations https://eurogoos.eu/data-management-exchange-quality-working-group-data-meq
This survey inquires about the knowledge of FAIR data (findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable) and the existing barriers to share marine data within the EuroGOOS community. The survey results will help to evaluate the status of data sharing in Europe and contribute to the EuroGOOS activities across its regional systems (ROOS), task teams, and working groups. The survey consists on two sections: one for in situ data providers and one for in situ data users. All answers will be anonymised for the analysis. The survey takes about 7 minutes.

  2. Survey on biological ocean observing systems
This survey is to understand the current and potential future capability in biological ocean observation within the EuroGOOS community. It will provide insights about what is currently available, the challenges, and current and future requirements of the community in this field. The results will be used by the EuroGOOS BIOWG. All answers will be anonymised for the analysis. The survey takes about 7 minutes.
